South Australian Paediatric Brain Cancer Biobank
This funding is to develop a world-class, comprehensive, clinically annotated paediatric brain tumour biobank (the South Australian Paediatric Brain Cancer Biobank).
This will encompass both banked tumour tissue that is preserved in such a manner to enable a broad range of analyses (including genomics, epigenetics, transcriptomics, proteomics and lipidomics), and a living paediatric brain cancer biobank through processing of fresh tumour material into patient-specific cell lines, organoids and patient-derived xenograft mouse models of paediatric disease.
